Acknowledgments

The development of the St Raphaela’s National school website has been a collaborative project involving many people and is one that has evolved over a number of phases. Clare McIntyre laid the initial foundations of this site upon which Jessica Bair later brought to a further level. Without both their individual contributions this project would have been a lot more onerous. Sr. Mary Corr recognised the importance of having a modern functional and friendly web presence for the school the content of which was current and relevant.

An ad hoc committee comprising of David and Jessica Bair, Damien Kelly, Peter Kenny, Harry O’Crowley, Paul Sweeney and Sr. Mary Corr was formed to address the technical, administrative and content issues of developing the site. Our school secretary Jill Finegan co-ordinated the distribution of the large volumes of content and will be the main web administrator. Sarah Hipwell (www.de-brisdesign.com) joined the committee bringing with her a graphic design expertise the benefits of which are readily apparent. We are also grateful to Shane McDonald and Zephyr Webdesign (www.zephyr-ireland.com ) who has married the technology and content in a consistent and coherent manner to ultimately present the school with our live and vibrant website.

However above all we must acknowledge the contribution of all the children and their teachers to the development of their website. Without their work, their art and the output from all their sporting, cultural and joyful school activities we would not have any content to display.
